La Città di Partenope Reimagined — A House of Music as a mediator of the port city divide

A zero-impact regeneration of the abandoned industrial port in eastern Naples, with a House of Music as the mediator between port and city. The carbon-neutral waterfront proposal integrates seawater cooling and district heating, restores historic buildings, removes structures beyond repair and opens urban parks and sea platforms.

Desert Studies Research Centre — Thinking of Employee Wellbeing

University of Khartoum

A research centre on the University of Dongola campus, prompted by the UNEP 2002 report on desertification. The thesis report studies desertification, its consequences and desert-architecture approaches; the design builds on the seven principles of human wellbeing and on hot-arid techniques — passive and stack ventilation, sandstone thermal mass and shading.

Planning and Design for the Just City

TU Delft

A summer school on “Just City” principles — inclusive urbanism and communities, spatial justice, spatial capital and green gentrification — explored through live urban design. Eman co-authored a research paper on spatial inequality within an international team.
